Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use the Global Home Point website.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of globalhomepoint.com, operated by Global Home Point ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the website, our Design Passport, submitting a form or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Use of the Website
You may use this website for lawful, personal and non commercial purposes, such as learning about our services, reading articles and contacting us. You agree to provide accurate information when submitting forms and not to misuse the website or interfere with its operation.
Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to submit false, misleading, offensive or unlawful content, impersonate another person, submit someone else's information without permission, send unsolicited advertising, attempt unauthorised access to our systems, introduce harmful code or use automated tools to copy website content without our written permission. We may restrict access for anyone who breaches these rules.
Website Content
Articles, service descriptions, Design Passport content and other website material are provided for general information and inspiration only. They are not engineering, legal, insurance or financial advice and do not replace an on site assessment. Information about building codes, product approvals, insurance credits and incentives is general and may change, so please confirm details for your own property.
Consultations, Proposals and Estimates
Consultations, proposals and estimates are based on information available at the time and may change after inspection, final selections, product availability or the discovery of hidden conditions. All renovation and installation work is governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the written agreement will apply.
Hurricane Season and Scheduling
Project schedules depend on permits, inspections, product approvals, homeowners association reviews, material lead times and weather. Work may be paused for tropical storms, hurricanes, heavy rain or other conditions that make it unsafe to continue. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply shortages or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Financing, Warranties and Third Parties
Information about financing, warranties and insurance is general guidance only. Financing is provided by independent lenders and warranty plans by their providers, each under their own terms and approval processes. We do not guarantee approval, rates, coverage or insurance discounts. Manufacturer warranties are provided by manufacturers, and any workmanship warranty we offer is set out in your written project agreement.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and design, belongs to Global Home Point or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Photographs may be used under licence from their owners. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or modify website content without our written permission.
Your Submissions
When you send us messages, photos or plans, you confirm that you have the right to share them and allow us to use them to respond to you and prepare proposals. Personal information you include is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Appointments and Cancellations
Please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel a consultation or site visit. Appointments may also be rescheduled by us during severe weather. Cancellation terms for project work are set out in your written agreement.
Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that it will be free from errors or viruses. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the website at any time without notice.
Third Party Links
The website may include links to third party websites, maps and social media platforms for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Home Point will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Home Point, its owners, employees and partners from claims, losses, damages and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from your misuse of the website or breach of these terms.
Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami Dade County, Florida.
Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These terms and our Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the website.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
